Total Petrochemicals
operates four polystyrene plants in Europe (Spain, 2 in France and UK), one in USA and one in Singapore. In Europe, customers are assigned to the nearest plant so that the delivery time could be as short as possible. This allows for a delivery by another site in case of any problem occurring in one site.
Total Petrochemicals uses high-performance tools to optimise the supply chain and is able to adapt its logistics flow, should any new requirement appear.
Multimodal transport is developped in order to minimize the impact on the environment (train + sea transport).
